Hi, I’m Bryson.

I study IT and Cybersecurity at the University of Missouri–Columbia. You’ll find my portfolio, rambles, and whatever I choose to post here.

This website is still VERY much in development, shipped in small iterations. If something looks thin, it’s being built—check back.

Featured projects

  • polytool — open-source replacement for the Poly Lens desktop app. A Python CLI plus a drop-in LensService MITM and REST API for managing Poly/Plantronics USB headsets. Fixes the FFFFFFFF firmware-NVRAM bug that crashes Poly Studio on some Savi DECT units, restores accurate device names and firmware versions across multiples of the same model, and exposes everything over a curl-able HTTP API.
  • DRIFT — encrypted transport protocol where your address is your public key. Mesh routing is built in, performance is QUIC-grade (multiplexed streams, congestion control, session resumption, graceful connection migration), and a WASM build runs the same wire protocol byte-for-byte in the browser. Inspired by Reticulum's identity-first philosophy and designed to be fast on production IP networks.
